Alan Zametkin is a Senior Clinical Staff Physician in the Section on Neuroadaptation and Protein Metabolism in the Intramural Research Program of the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. A graduate of Amherst College, Brown University Program in Medicine, Dr. Zametkin completed his training at Stanford University Medical Center (pediatric internship), U.C.L.A. (adult psychiatry), and the Children’s National Medical Center (child psychiatry). Dr. Zametkin interests include brain imaging in teen suicide, childhood onset obesity, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and fragile X syndrome. Dr. Zametkin is a major collaborator of the Section on Neuroadaptation and Protein Metabolism. |
