Brendan Rich, Ph.D.
Brendan Rich, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Pediatric and Developmental Neuropsychiatry Branch of
the Mood and Anxiety Program, National Institute of Mental Health. Dr. Rich received his B.A. in Psychology
from Vassar College and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida.
He completed his Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Child Psychology at Children’s National Medical Center
in Washington, D.C. Dr. Rich’s previous research has explored memory biases in anxious adolescents,
the role of psychopathology in juvenile criminal recidivism, the treatment of children with conduct
problems, and the psychometric properties of assessment measures. His current research focuses on the
cognitive distortions associated with mood disorders and the pathophysiology of emotional and behavioral
dysregulation. |
