Rezvan Ameli-Grillon, Ph.D.

       Rezvan Ameli-Grillon, Ph.D. is a Chief Psychologist and Director of Clinical Training, MAP,  who will be providing clinical services and collaboration in research projects involving Cognitive Behavioral and Interpersonal Therapies. In addition, she will be organizing training for various diagnostic tools and rating scales utilized by MAP investigators. Born and raised in Iran and an honor student from Tehran University, Dr. Ameli came to the United States in 1979. She completed her graduate studies in the United States. Since obtaining her doctorate in 1986, Dr. Ameli been actively involved in provision of clinical services, teaching, and research. In addition to years of clinical experience working with various age and diagnostic groups, she developed, directed, and participated in several clinical programs at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT; Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT; and Masonic Geriatric HealthCare Center, Wallingford, Ct. She has held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Yale University and at the University of Connecticut. She provided consultations and served as an Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University for the Sleep Disorders Clinic, Yale University.
