Jinsoo Hong, MS

Jinsoo Hong gained his Masters degree (MS) in Organic chemistry from George Mason University in 1999. He was an Associate Scientist at Life Technologies Inc.(1999-2002). His work contributed to the development and successful launch of Lipofectamine 2000, a transfection agent. Jinsoo joined Molecular Imaging Branch, National Institute of Mental Health in 2002 as a Chemist. His main goal is to develop and implement efficient radiochemistry of carbon-11 labeled radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging. His expertise is in radiochemistry instrumentation, which include The GE MeI Microlab, GE FXc box, Bioscan Loop and Synthia.
